Recovery from Childhood Abuse
Physical, mental, or sexual abuse suffered in childhood can result in a
variety of
symptoms: depression, anger, taking excessive risks, sexual compulsions,
alcohol dependence, drug dependence, failure to succeed in work, or an inability
to establish healthy long term relationships.
The symptoms caused by childhood abuse
are
particularly well suited to being healed using recently discovered methods of
treatment.
Neuro Linguistic Programming is a science
dedicated to understanding the conscious and unconscious programming we all
have. Once we are understand how a person has been programmed, then we
can help them to change that programming so they respond
differently.
Emotional Freedom Therapy is used to
reduce the pain caused by past events. It is especially useful in
quickly reducing the pain from childhood and adult abuse.
Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing (EMDR) can also be used to reduce anger, hurt and fear of past
traumatic events.
We have a great deal of experience
in helping people recover from childhood abuse, enabling them to be
more at peace with themselves and find success in
relationships, family life and their work.
